Previous | Rant Archives | Next Damn Virus! I got a nice virus mixed with spyware combo stuck on my hard drive. I've been trying everything to remove it. I've gone through everything. I tried to remove the it in safe mode using 3 different adware removal programs (It's primarily an adware program) and my AVG for the virus, but part of it's still there!! >< I even found the method online for removing this specific adware manually, and even after everything, even unregisterring all the DLL files and wiping it from the registry, it still has one part of it there. And so...It's beat me. I threw in the towel. I'm going to save all the files (luckily I've got the external hard drive for it) and format my system. On what might be a positive side, I'll install my free copy of Vista since it requires a fresh install anyway. I didn't want to bother with yet in case any of my hardware wouldn't be able to aquire working drivers, but I figure "what the heck" at this point. It's not like it would take long to reformat it again if I had to. As for the Chibi comic. I'm really going to try and get it done tomorrow on another computer after I transfer over some apps and stuff. I hope I can. If not I'll just aim to return to normal next week. Thanks everyone for understanding. Videos of Ninya and the Puppy Sorry Monday's comic was a few hours late actually being up. I didn't have access until the afternoon to update it. Sakura from last December when the first snow fell. It was uncommonly deep for around here too. Ninya says "No" to Drugs Ok the little comic about it was a joke, but the good news is that last Monday I finally got off of my anti-depressants! Woo hoo!! I was put on them shortly after my daddy ran away with a little "hooker-bitch" four years ago (No I'm not bitter at all >=), and I'd been trying to get off of them for a little over a year now. Today is the first day I have not had with-draws from not taking the medication in a week! (These include: headach, diziness, nausia, and uncontrollable crying for reasons like....a bug splatted on your car window...the poor bug...*sniff*) Never get on these pills they will **** you over in the head...seriously. Baby It's Cold Outside I did a little piece by a friend's request that was based on the song Baby It's Cold Outside. She wanted it of Adyon and Ninya singing it. Naruto Fanart
I did some fanart of the new Naruto Shippuden series. It's cool. =P Seriously though. The new Naruto kicks ass. Not that I'm saying the filler was good, but I would still say the new series is worth the wait. I love the new opening too. The music's badass. Oh and I'd like to say a happy birthday to Morr! (By the way, he updated again for those of you waiting that haven't heard yet) The New First Page Basically I decided finally (I've been thinking about it) to make the beginning of the comic's story flow a little more smoothly. I originally had planned to linger with just random stuff for a little while longer, but because of some comments, ideas, and a few other things I stayed fairly story based right from the beginning. Thus, it flows a little harshly at the beginning and kinda felt like a wandering story. Some people might think the plot seemed almost random. So I wanted to tie everything in from the beginning. On a different note, it's a lot more impressive than if I'd done it from the beginning actually since I've learned some new tricks. Hopefully you all don't mind the wait. It really took quite awhile since it was pretty much a painting. These types of backgrounds don't take nearly the same amount of time to do simply behind the characters. I decided to post up the reference picture I used to show where I got the background. It's pretty neat to see the effect. =P Being a Grown-up Sux! Wow..I never update this, acctually I've wanted to for a while but I never knew how to...anyway I'm here now. I have a research paper due on monday that I haven't even started...yeah lots of fun. And get this.....it's over "The Alphabet" . How retarded, right? That's what I should be working on, but I just don't feel like it. I feel depressed, not suprising because I'm trying to get off of my anti-depressents, but wow.... I'm tired and just...down. I don't know why I'm writing this , but it's just what's going through my head. A Change to Update Schedules The new Oranime Chibi comics will take place on Fridays and sometimes Wednesdays from now on until I get more work done on my other comic I'm doing. (Sorry I still can't show you guys) Anyway, I have some slightly bad news. I'll only be relaly updating this main comic once a week for awhile. I cut it down from three times a week shortly after it started and now to once. It's only temporary though. I need to work a lot faster on finishing my offline comic. We need to get it submitted soon for print. As for what this means to updates, I actually plan on still updating this comic on Mondays and Fridays. On Friday's though I will adopt some different one shot, non colored comics that will be straight random gags. (I'm ripping this idea from someone, but the first gag will reveal this) From time to time I might even get a Wednesday one up too if I have time. Either way, the Lord of the Parodies comic will update on Wednesdays and Fridays still at least for awhile. The End of Filler A lot of Naruto fans will hopefully find this comic funny. For everyone who has no clue...sorry. =P Just a bit of an update to the rant to add a few things. For those who can't tell I did today's comic a bit different. I colored it with markers rather than on the computer. I think there's a few things wrong with it, especially the trippy computer feeling I tried to do with background you can see in the 5th and 6th panel. I really didn't know what to do with the computer world and in the haste of doing the comic I may have butchered it. Oh well. I won't be doing any story comics coloring with markers though. The exception of course is the non-story filler comics like this one. As for the filler ending, I couldn't be happier. It's about time. They were verging on a hundred episodes of bloody filler! O_o It wouldn't have been so bad if they'd done it better. I have to say, this last filler they did with Gaara was really good. Why the hell was it so short?! They could have extended it, added a bit more backstory and a few events and done about 20 episodes on it. It would have actually been good. I mean compare that to some of the other horrible fillers that went on forever. If they'd just cut some of those instead...makes you wonder what they were thinking. Meh. Technically the same goes to my other favorite series One Piece. The fillers have been well thought out. But One Piece has managed to not overload itself with filler too. Having been so obsessed with One Piece lately, I'd forgotten my addiction to Naruto. The poor fillers didn't make me just super excited every week either. But now it's gonna be over! I'm way too excited! I just can't wait! I have a hard time choosing a favorite between One Peace, Naruto, and Bleach though. It's really gone back and forth. Ninya hasn't gotten to experience much of them yet since I haven't looked into the English versions yet. I've been watching them in Japanese for awhile now. (I wouldn't ever see One Piece if I had to be subjected to the horrible English version) Ninya doesn't like keeping up with subtitles though. Happy Birthday Ninya Today is, for those of you who don't know, Ninya's birthday! She's officially 19 today! Even though she didn't take the day off work today, I hope the day goes well for her. Anyone that wants to wish her happy birthday can obviously, as some already have in the shoutbox. For those who don't notice, there's a 4th guy in the back barely visible. There was a 5th originally, but I decided against him and he got erased from existance. ZOMG
