Only problem is...I didn't draw it. >.> LOL But seriously, you guys should check this out: The Beginning JBB describes it best on the comic description, but just think of it of an "alternative universe" story. The primary focus of this story is Adyon and Darkdays, but it also features Ninya and Krione. (There's a lot of other characters that are people from our art forums, but JBB does a good job of incorporating them in a way you don't have to actually know them to get it, so don't worry.) Anyway, even I don't know what's going to happen, so it's exciting for me to read as well. Talking Political for a Sec As many know already, the political primaries here in America are about to come to a close before too long. I can say I have pretty good idea of who's going to be party representatives, not to mention even president, but I'll mention that in a sec. Sigh, I really don't have any clue who I'm going to vote for myself anymore. Don't get me wrong, I know who I support. I firmly believe in Ron Paul. It's just that, I knew since over a year ago that he wouldn't win this election. Why? One main reason...The news was too against him as he wasn't famous nor rich enough for CNN to get ratings off him. The country is controlled by money. If it wasn't for the internet, Ron Paul would have just been an unknown candidate as many brilliant minds have gone by. Ron Paul is finely mainstream, but only because he has great followers and a lot of people who really are thinkers and understand how this nation works. Together, they have come up some "ingenious" ways to use the current system in a way where it can work for them. Ron Paul is a different type of politician. He's intelligent, and he TRULY understands the ways of the world. He's never changed his ways and he sticks by his own standards. He is like many visionaries of their times. The three front-runners in my oppinion will be Obama, Hillary, and McCain. As for the current race, I can wager McCain will win republican vote. MAYBE Huckabee, but very unlikely. Obama and Hillary appear to be kneck and kneck, but I think it's more apparent that Obama has the advantage. Obama is actually in the lead despite Hillary winning her two big states, New York and California. Hillary is prominently popular there, and I don't think she will come back. I could be wrong, but who knows. I think McCain could beat Hilary if the two competed, as Hilary is so polar that many people hate her even in her own party, so McCain would have more support. On the other hand, Obama is so universal and such a good speaker, I think he can easily beat McCain. So what does all this say? I don't really want anyone to win. It's more like I know who I don't want to win. I think I'm shooting for Obama, as I don't want Hillary or McCain. I know Ron Paul won't win this time, but I think in 2012 he could really have a better shot if he's still young enough to feel he can compete. Maybe he can still have a greater influence now in the overall political system, but it's just unreasonable for him to win this time. He's always winning 2nd or 3rd, but he just wasn't mainstream or being recognized by the news long enough to win like he should have. Ninya's 20th Happy 20th birthday Ninya! Working Like On a Treadmill That's what I feel like the last few days have been. You feel like you're so incredibly busy doing one thing after the next, but at the end of it all, nothing feels like it got done. My Resolutions Late, I know, but here they are: 1. Get married…somehow (Viva Las Vegas!)…haha yeah I wish it were that easy 2. Potty train the new puppy 3. Finish my house's makeover 4. Make new friends, real friends, real..live..people 5. Keep Adyon on task And if all that doesn't just kill me, I may get tested for super powers. This year sounds like its going to suck! Everyone and they're grandmother are like, “Oh a wedding how wonderful!” and I'm thinking…ok YOU plan it then…gah, stressful! And THAT is why there will be, “drinks all around”, Dark days. :) New Years Resolutions for 2008 I get to try this again! I actually made most of last years resolutions minus taking any art to a convention. >.> I went to one...just didn't go to show my work. Well, I'll try a round 2 of this! My goals for 2008: 1. Continue to update OrAnIMe steadily The sad part is 2, 3, 4, and 8 need to be done by the end of January. Crap. |
